WebNo matter where students are when they participate in class video calls, there are likely others around them. The adults surrounding them have vast experience to share. Even the children around them have something to teach others! Let a few students bring a guest on camera with them. WebI teach HS and go with "class, people, teenage people, hey!, guys, and unless someone has an issue with it, plain ol' boys and girls!" Retired middle school (grade 8) teacher here. I used to say, “Good Morning Class of 2024; Good Morning Class of 2027; Good Morning Class of 2031”. The kids would still chatter during “class of ‘23”.
