WebJan 23, 2024 · The design is there so your printer does not try to extrude cold. As has been shown in this thread, if your start gcode snippet contains a heatup-sequence, then Cura will not add its own. So you can in fact choose: convenience or control. But you can also choose to use different software. WebAlso use this video as a tutorial, same problem that's when I started to use the calibration plugin with the PLA temperature tower. The only way I have found to change temps is to use the change temp at z level option in the menu or to find a ender 3/pro gcode file but even then I don't trust everything to be the same.

WebFeb 22, 2024 · Once my extruder & printer bed have heated I set the printer to run from the SD card, the process starts as the printer LCD screen changes and shows progress as 0%, filament used as 0 and elapsed time starts counting. Beyond that the extruder does not extrude or even move. Nothing happens except the extruder starts to loose temperature.
