WebSep 7, 2009 · The E4OD and 4r100 have different soleniods and they arent interchangable. the 99-03 4r100 uses PWM like you said and the E4OD is just an on/off switch. The 4r100 has a large bore (E4OD is a small bore hole) that is controlled with the PWM and the E4OD wont be able to control that, so it will throw it into gear and cause damage. Mark
