WebbThe tv series was based on the elfstones of Shannara book 2 of the chronicles. I however wanted to start at the beginning of the series. I am so glad I did. This is a rich and full bodied epic fantasy. I was really impressed with the story telling, character development and detail. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
