WebbBIG SLAB is Slugbotics’ first competition-ready Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV). Our company has 21 members from a variety of fields, who have worked tirelessly throughout the past academic year to design and build an ROV that is fully equipped to perform the tasks required by the request for proposals (RFP) from MATE and the Eastman Company. WebbSlugbotics is the robotics club at UC Santa Cruz. We offer students opportunities in hands-on robotics engineering, advanced software development, and business and team management. All students are welcome, with no prior experience necessary. All of our meetings are hybrid (in person and online) to make working on projects easier and safer.
